Avarti App

A driving learning application

Background

Avarti app, assists in studying and preparing for the
driving theory test

The main purpose of the application as defined by the
developers is to help users pass the theory test
efficiently, easily and with maximum success. After research
, we realized that the application could be
improved in many ways

Problem

The study material for the test is boring
and people put off studying for it again and again

People who want to pass a theory test to learn to drive
postpone the exam, due to a lack of motivation to study
since the study material is boring, and they do not have a
deadline that would require them to study without
repeatedly postponing the study

Objective

Make studying more experiential and interesting #

The user interface is designed in an old-fashioned and cumbersome way,
and required a change of colors and visibility to a design that would
not distract the mind while studying material for the test

make the material accessible in a clear and orderly#
manner

The test material is in order and organized so that the examinee can understand the studied material in an orderly and unconfused manner

#Setting a goal of the test for a quick and successful completion by setting a date and arranging the material according to a certain time

The user chooses when to take the test and
accordingly a daily reminder of the material and practice is sent to him.

Research

Market analysis

Before the initial testing of the product, I conducted a
thorough market analysis of existing platforms that
offer similar services.

These platforms offer similar services. I checked the split
options that were made. I compared the learning experience
of each app, and wrote down the positive and negative
features of each. I also checked design inspirations
in order to get an overall picture of the field.

Survey

Analysis of the current situation

Interviews can help us understand users'
perspectives and learn their pain points.
The goal was to understand the general behavior
related to studying and practicing theory tests
and to know about the problems people
face that prevent them from succeeding.

I asked a variety of questions in order to understand the feeling the
get when brushing the application

Persona

User journey map

A user empathy map is a visual tool for product developers
who want to gain a deeper and more personal
understanding of a particular subset of users.

A user journey map is useful for getting a more complete
view of the user’s experience for a specific task. The goal is to
find the significant low points or problems that the user is
facing. It’s also a great time to highlight the thoughts and
emotional aspects of the user’s experience.

Challenge

Make the users of the application enjoy themselves while
studying the material, making the most of their time, and
successfully pass the theory test the first time.

Solution

Setting a goal for the test to finish quickly and successfully
by setting a date and arranging the material according to a
certain time.

Visual Design

The design palette I chose is simple and clear, and this is to
prevent eye strain and confusion when studying
. But also vivid colors to give a feeling of pleasure when using
the application.

UI Screen

Using a small number of colors in order to avoid confusion during the exam.

Dividing the material into clear and orderly chapters.

For the user we have created a personal area where he can keep track of his learning pace and achievements

We have added in the menu an option that will expose the user to information and useful links regarding the process of issuing a driver's license
